A little 100 word story for Friday Fictioneers
Norman
the naughty gnome lived in a magic garden where people came to drop coins
in the fountain.
Each
day he would hide and as people approached, pinch his nose, drop beneath
the bubbles and steal the coins as they floated down.
The
Gnome Major heard of Norman’s naughtiness and appeared one day.
Norman dived. Pointing
a bony finger at the water the Major wiggled it. Norman started spinning, then with a
glug disappeared down the drain hole.
Suddenly
the tumbling water turned gold and thousands of coins shot skyward then rained to
the ground.
