I'll never eat spaghetti again!

It Magpie Tales day again! Todays prompt picture is a work of art (?) by Jackson Pollock. Thanks Tess, I think!

Sally, Charlotte, Julie and I were in a trattoria in Rome. We sometimes travel there to view our favourite sights - Carlos, Alberto and Gino to name but a few!
I was struggling with a bowl of squid ink spaghetti when a smooth waiter sidled up to us, the way Italian ‘uominos’ do. He proceeded to charm us with his Latino whit, even though we couldn’t understand a single word he was saying!
He watched as I failed to transport some of the slithering black worms from the bowl to my gaping mouth. To my embarrassment they started flowing into my lap.
‘They call me the snake’ he hissed at me. ‘Letta me caress you witha my tong. And then I will  givva you the besta fawk ever.
Confusion and blind panic set in. My immediate thought was that I didn't know Italian men had forked tongues. The thoughts that followed were...well...
He raised my hand and actually licked the slimy sauce from it. Then with a dramatic flourish he produced from his apron pocket something that looked like a torch with prongs on the end. He pressed a button and the forky bit started spinning! The perfect device to control my independently minded spaghetti.
Throughout this episode my so-called friends were almost peeing themselves with laughter.
I resisted the temptation to tell them to fawk off!
