Charge!

It's Friday and I'm an avid Fictioneer! So, here comes my 100 words-worth!

I get confused sometimes. Don’t you? The other day a friend told me that they used chain mail in ancient times. I said I didn’t realise they had a postal service then. Duh!

Her fella’s joined a battle re-enactment group and wears chain mail. I said ‘Is it heavy?’ She said no, it’s knitted string sprayed silver! The arrow heads are rubber. I said ‘What’s the point?’ She said ‘I told you, rubber’ Ta-daa!

We are watching one next week. I’m wearing my cycling helmet, sunglasses, a padded coat, and taking my dustbin lid for a shield. Can’t be too careful!

  1. Dear Rosey,

The image of her with the lid for a shield made me laugh.
