Duh!

I'm having another go at Rochelle Wisoff-Field's fun-filled Friday Fictioneers

My mate Lucy landed a fab job in Paris.  One weekend she invited me to stay.

I arrived at St Pancras station early. The Eurostar train was already there so I hopped on. It started moving, twenty minutes early.

She said to meet in Trak coffee bar at Gare-de-Nord station. I couldn’t see her so I ordered a brew. I don’t par-lay-voo much Fronsay so I used my famous French accent. “Coff-ay pleez-eee mist-air” Success!

My phone ding-a-linged.

“Where are you Rosey Pee?”

“Here” I said spinning around.

“Where?”

Then I noticed the address on the menu board – Trak, Gare-de-Bruxelles, Belgium!

Woopsie!

I chose to ignored the garlic - I didn't want my blog to smell!

  5. Great ending. Now that would be the kind of thing I would do! My mind is usually elsewhere when I travel. So, did they met up in Belgium or France?
My name doesn't seem to be attached to this. I'm not anonymous, I'm Phylor!

  19. LOL, Whoopsie, indeed. And that's why the train left twenty minutes early. If your trains are anything like ours, that would be something to worry about, since ours are always late. Great fun, as always.
