Only me!

I thought I'd have a shot at the Sunday Whirligigamy. These are the words I have to use - bickering asleep floor hear breath soft cord frayed signal bed awake separate.

So there I was asleep on the floor (don't ask) and I felt warm breath in my ear. Then a soft and gentle lick on my cheek.

I thought perhaps I was about to have one of those erotic dreams; either that, or I was awake and my luck had changed!

Actually it was neither, it was Scruff. No, not that bloke in the frayed cord jeans that tried to chat me up in The Bicycle Arms the other night, that was Keith (only kidding mate!) Scruff is one of my pussy cats.

In case you are new here, I have two; the other one is called Fuzzeybutt. They lead very separate lives, constantly bickering; hissing, growing and sticking their tongues out at each other – honestly! They even sleep on opposite sides my bed which doesn't leave much room for me.

I've forgotten what I was going to tell you now (nothing unusual there I hear you say) but I've used all but one of the words up which is the signal for me to stop (see what I did there - they are all used up now!) Bye x

  4. This reads like a journal page and I relate to that strongly, except my ear-nuzzler was a large furry Elkhound by the name of Sylvie. And she wasn't showing affection, but rather telling me it was time to get up and feed her. Thanks for the enjoyable read and the memories,

    Elizabeth

  5. I can't believe you don't have luck, as you put it, unless men are a bit wary of you, not quite knowing of what will happen. Great use of the words
