This week's Wordle words are:- chirping foster secret stop easy worm amber me here deal rot and speak
I’m not normally one to foster secrets because they always manage to worm their way out of me when I least want them to. So here goes.
Ahem. I’ve joined a choir. There, I've said it.
Stop chuckling you rotters, it’s no big deal. It’s easy-peasy, like speaking, but shifting your voice up and down as you go along! And it’s far more fun than chirping to yourself in the shower.
I’m giving you this amber alert now because we are performing a charity gig at the Bicycle Arms on Saturday and I know some of you will be there. So if you have to laugh, laugh about it now, not when I’m performing.
.
Rosey I think you will blow the audience away (hopefully not literally) sing loud and proud my friend!
ReplyDeleteI certainly intend to - sing loud that is!
DeleteI am pretty sure the Bicycle Arms will be packed that night. I hope I can squeeze in.
ReplyDeleteAlways room for you Eggy!
DeleteBelt it out, baby!
ReplyDeleteOh yea!
DeleteGood for you. Growing up, it was singing, alone or with others, that held my life together, best of wishes on your new adventure,
ReplyDeleteElizabeth
Thank you Elizabeth.
DeleteGood for you Rosie !
ReplyDeleteI like a challenge!
DeleteMy singing is best left to the shower but good for you! Love the voice in this :-)
ReplyDeleteI thought that too - I'm sure some of my fellow singers still do!
DeleteLove the winning attitude and thanks for sharing this 'worming' secret! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Thanks Humbird,
DeleteSinging is good for the soul, and singing in company is the tops! A lovely economical use of the wordle words.
ReplyDeleteIndeed it is! Thanks Viv.
DeleteSo refreshing to be offered a prose unlike verses of others. Love your easy peasy way of getting it across. Great write Rosey!
ReplyDeleteHank
I don't like being told what to do at the best of times, so to have to write in accordance with the rules of poetry would make it more difficult for me to express myself. Even so-called free verse has to have a certain flow to it which I find claustrophobic. Blimey listen to me - bet you didn't see that coming! Oh, and thanks for your kind words.
