Shhh...

This week's Wordle words are:- chirping foster secret stop easy worm amber me here deal rot and speak

I’m not normally one to foster secrets because they always manage to worm their way out of me when I  least want them to. So here goes.

Ahem. I’ve  joined a choir. There, I've said it.

Stop chuckling you rotters, it’s no big deal. It’s easy-peasy, like speaking, but shifting your voice up and down as you go along!  And it’s far more fun than chirping to yourself in the shower.

I’m giving you this amber alert now because we are performing a charity gig at the Bicycle Arms on Saturday and I know some of you will be there. So if you have to laugh, laugh about it now, not when I’m performing.

Right. Off you go. I need to practice.

  3. Good for you. Growing up, it was singing, alone or with others, that held my life together, best of wishes on your new adventure,

    1. I don't like being told what to do at the best of times, so to have to write in accordance with the rules of poetry would make it more difficult for me to express myself. Even so-called free verse has to have a certain flow to it which I find claustrophobic. Blimey listen to me - bet you didn't see that coming! Oh, and thanks for your kind words.
